This Privacy Policy explains what information Stector ("we," "us," "our") collects when you use our synthetic monitoring service, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and, depending on how you sign up, your name and profile picture (if you sign in with Google) or a password (stored securely by our authentication provider — never in plain text, and never visible to us directly).
Team information. If you create or join a team, we store the team name and its list of members and their roles.
Monitoring data. We store the URLs or endpoints you configure us to monitor, your check settings (such as how often and from which regions we check them), and the results — response times, status codes, and any incidents we detect.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card number. We do receive limited billing information from them, such as your subscription status and billing email.
Integrations you connect. If you connect a third-party service, such as Slack, we store the minimum information needed to deliver notifications there.
Support communications. If you contact us for help, we keep a record of that conversation.
Automatically collected information. Our servers log standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and troubleshooting. We use a small number of cookies required to keep you signed in and to remember settings like which team you're currently viewing. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data by contacting support@stector.app; we'll do so except where we need to keep certain records, such as billing history, for longer.
You can review and update your account information anytime by signing in. You can ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete it, by contacting support@stector.app. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, which we'll honor where they apply.
Stector isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll let you know, such as by email or a notice inside the app.
