These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Stector, a synthetic monitoring service operated by Stector LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account or using Stector, you agree to these Terms.
Stector monitors websites and endpoints you configure, checks them on the schedule you choose, and alerts you when something appears to be down or behaving unexpectedly. Specific features and limits depend on your plan, as described on our pricing page.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at support@stector.app.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy, at the rate shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase. You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
You agree not to use Stector to:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
We work to keep Stector reliable, but we don't guarantee it will be available without interruption or error, and we don't guarantee that every incident will be detected or every alert delivered. Stector is a monitoring tool, not a substitute for your own operational safeguards.
You retain ownership of the monitoring configurations and data you create in Stector. You're responsible for making sure you have the right to monitor the URLs and endpoints you configure. We handle your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Stector, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Stector LLC. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.
You may close your account at any time by contacting support@stector.app. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, or if we discontinue the service, with notice where reasonably possible.
Stector is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stector LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including downtime, data loss, or lost revenue — arising from your use of, or inability to use, Stector, including any failure of a monitoring check or alert.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll let you know, such as by email or a notice inside the app. Continuing to use Stector after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia.
